Photo Tour

We’ve had some people asking for updated pictures now that we’ve been living in the tiny for nearly half a year. Overall we’ve found the transition more easy than we ever expected but of course it now has the “lived in” look, especially with two young boys. Here is a little photo tour:

Bedroom/Living Room/Dining Room- This room does it all :). It’s a small space but functional for many needs. Sometimes we skip messing with the tables and high chairs and stools and go and eat outside, but we consider that a perk…it isn’t a far walk from the kitchen to outside!

Couch mode with storage underneath. Each boy has one drawer and momma has one drawer.

Here is the size of one drawer. They can get a little cramped and unorganized but it gives us an excuse to clean out clothes. This is the baby's drawer.

Lunch time in the tiny often looks like this. Fold down tables, fold out stool and high chair.

Momma's closet. Don't worry I have a drawer too :). And yes there is a spam canjo in my closet right now.

Media Area-Will probably add more to this but for now this is what we have.

“Hallway” – Where most of our storage is. Still hoping to add a large family picture or two up high.

These stair shelves hold some overflow bathroom items that we don't need every day. And other miscellaneous items.

Bathroom- It’s a quite small bathroom but super functional. Shower and toilet and enough room to change. We even have a tiny bathtub for the boys. The shower rod collapses and expands to add more room to the bathroom or to the shower, depending on if you’re in it or not. The boys haven’t seemed to notice that the tub is smaller and that we haven’t brought in bath toys.

Our family tries to use as many of the same products as we can to minimize the shelves being too crazy. Makes for easier cleaning too.

Try to keep it to the main items here. More cluttered than the hubs would like but women don't like to run out of toilet paper.

Kitchen- Out of all the houses I’ve lived in this is by far my favorite kitchen. It’s not only beautiful but functional! We even still have some extra room if we decide we want to add a few more things we’ve tried to go without.

We've downsized appliances from other previous house but haven't really missed the little bit of space. Surprisingly the dishwasher isn't missed either.

Our shelves have filled up but we still have room at the top to add more if we need to.

Loft- The boy’s zone right here. A pack’n’play wasn’t part of the original plan but it’s worked out great. The boys play and sleep in this area. During the day they love looking out the windows and at night they love their cool lights. As no surprise, this is probably the messiest place of the house.

Day time mode in the loft. No they don't sit very long like this.

I’m sure I’d have to twist Gib & Rainer’s arm to allow those two to sleep over :). Thank you!

    I love it!

18 rolls of TP seems totally reasonable!! 😂

As always, the house looks great! I’m still in awe of how the boys (mine included!) play so contentedly together in the loft. M loves it up there!
